Jive Junkys is a hilarious, uniquely musical comedy following four talented, lovable Aussie blokes rehearse for and perform a show at impossibly short notice – bringing a special kind of chaos as they endeavor to sort out their ideas, frustrations and personal hang-ups.
This original production serves up pure entertainment packed with vaudeville, slapstick, tap dancing and standout Jive song-and-dance.
Backed by a raw, swingin’ “Jumpin’ Jive” score led by Musical Director Stephen Gray the show proudly showcases classic Aussie humor and vernacular. Originally choreographed by Christopher Horsey and brilliantly revamped by Katie Kermond, this highly tourable production offers a fast-paced, joyful night of theater featuring a powerhouse cast doing exactly what they do best.
